I also purchased a memory foam dog bed from OCK9. The main difference between the overstock memory foam dogs beds and those from OCK9 is Orange County K9 beds are 100% water proof so I don't need to worry when my 11 year old Lab soils it up from not having control of herself. I started with a cheaper version but once I purchased a orthopedic memory foam bed from OCK9 all I have to do is wipe it with a antibacterial wipe and it cleans right up very easily. The customer service at Dr Fosters is lousy or at least when I have dealt with them. Hope this is helpful, if it is in your budget i would suggest at least looking into OCK9.com
Good luck

If you go to overstock.com and type in memory foam dog bed, you'll get several different colors of large microfiber memory foam dog beds for around 60-65 dollars. They are expensive but they last forever, and are great for your dogs.

I have bought those for my dogs, and they work wonderfully. My dogs love them so much, that they often prefer the dog beds to sleeping on the furniture. They are very soft, very durable, and are perfect for a dog that has joint issues. They are the best pet beds I have ever found. They are only three inches thick, which sounds like it isn't very much but it is more than enough for a dog under 70-80 pounds. I used to have a 130 pound mastiff, so I bought two and just doubled it up.

I highly recommend them; they are well worth the money.

Good luck with your dog, I sincerely hope this helps!

No, SEVEN should not be used near pets! as for the bedding, bleach should not be used, it can irritate or burn their skin! Use a mild chemical detergent, such as dish washing liquid and make sure the bedding is rinsed very well.

Not safe at all - animals have died from it.

You need to get your dog on a monthly flea preventative like Advantix or Frontline Plus (also prevents ticks), wash all bedding, vacuum carpets and furniture, then throw the bag away.
If your house is seriously infested, get flea bombs.

You are right, it was commonly used to treat ticks and fleas on pets, but when it became obvious that large numbers of pets were dying from it's use, they discontinued it for pets.

We lost a pet to Seven Dust as it was absorbed through the skin, into the blood stream and died within a few hours of application. This was back in the late seventies.
