Good product. Looks as you would expect from description. Material is like a denim material so it's not super soft but it is durable. Only down fall is that it's hard to find the right thing to stuff it with, we did pillows and though it worked our dog didn't love it. No complaints, it's made well and is a good idea, our dog just didn't take to it so much.
Great Product, Friendly People

This product is really fantastic, my dog loves her bed and it's stuffed with old blankets I have no intention of using any longer. This is a great way to recycle your old stuff, and make it into something comfy for you pets. I have a labrador retriever and ordred the medium sized bed. It is more than large enough for her. Unless you have a lot of open space you want to take up with the bed, I'm going to suggest that you consider medium before large for dogs that could go either way on size. The cover is easy to wash, but be careful when machine washing. The first time I put my "Bird on a Wire" cover in the laundry the bird began to come off. I called Molly Mutt and they were exceptionally friendly and immediately sent me a new cover (at no cost) as a replacement and told me to stuff the old one inside of it or donate it to another dog who may need a bed. I was so surprised at how easy it was and how kind they were when I called. I will definitely recommend them to other people and buy from them in the future.

I concur with all the other positive reviews of the dog duvet. It's a great product--I used an old Costco bed doubled over plus a length of foam rolled up that was slightly thicker than the Costco bed to make a raised side for a pillow. Buy a stuff sack if you plan on washing the cover a lot. My only (very slight) disappointment: on my monitor the pattern "Perfect Afternoon" looked like taupe and slate blue. In reality it's light sage green and slate blue.
RIDICULOUS PRICE WHEN OTHER SIMILAR AMAZON ITEMS ARE CHEAPER!

Compare this "Molly Mutt" item to the Amazon item listed as "XXL 58"X40" Extra Large Durable Tough Denim Jean Pet Dog Bed Cover". The LATTER = super-tough, bigger, & allows for exactly the same stuffing of unwanted soft items as bed-filler -- YET ALL FOR ONLY $19.99 IN that EXTRA-EXTRA-LARGE SIZE! So what gives with this ridiculously high price of $35.00 for Molly Mutt's SMALLER bed-cover? (And with the MM zippers breaking so easily, too, as another Reviewer points out here.) Dear Amazon customers, if you want a canine bed-sack (aka "doggie-duvet"), do yourselves a favor & choose from the other highly rated ones here @ Amazon -- in whatever size you need & from whichever company you wish: for there are more fine companies than just the 1 example referenced here -- and thus SAVE YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY WITHOUT SACRIFICING QUALITY. -- Pssst: Sorry, but you "Molly Mutt" folks need to get a grip on your pricing as well as on current economic realities. This is 2010 and most people are NOT in the mood to waste money.
IDEA? Nice. But REALITY? PURE RIP OFF!

The idea-cum-goal expressed beneath "Product Features" regarding this bed cover -- for that's ALL this is: a canvas bed COVER; i.e., NOT a bed! -- is a nice one: stuff this cover with your own old cast-off clothing, blankets, & etc.; & thus avoid sending those cast-offs to a landfill instead. However, charging $35.00 for a medium sized sack made of canvas is an absolute RIP-OFF. I'll take a complete dog bed for $35, thank you -- not the mere covering for a dog bed!
